UC Merced has updated its plans for the fall 2020 semester to protect our community amid the rapidly changing conditions associated with COVID-19. In order to minimize contact between people and youth, we only offer campus stay to students for whom UC Merced is the best or only place to live while they are training. As a result of this update, we removed waiting lists, filed housing applications and terminated contracts signed as of July 12, 2020, as there is no space. Autumn 2020 – Since July 2020, students can continue to be accommodated in Derene based on the categories of housing needs listed below. If you are studying at one of UCM`s partner universities, you can participate in the UCM as an exchange student. Contact the Foreign Office At your home university for more information on how to apply for a semester or a full year at UCM. If your home university does not have an exchange contract with UCM, you can apply as a student on a paid contract. The summer housing count will be published on student accounts on May 25, 2020.
